CHRISTY
Catering Director
Christy loves the daily challenges and team atmosphere she has helped to create at Shigs In Pit Catering. She has had the opportunity to create and execute a long list of events that range from your smallest intimate gatherings to large corporate events and weddings. Her passion is the Guest, and with her 26 years of Customer Service rest be assured you are in great hands. She is persistent until your every need is met.
Her hands-on approach along with her keen eye for detail has helped grow the Catering Department into what it is today. The smile on the customers face at the end of a successful event, makes it all worth it for her.
Besides her passion for catering she also has a strong passion for fitness. If she’s not taking a yoga workshop, she’s signing up for a 5k. Her greatest passion is her family. Her three kids definitely have her heart.
JAMIE
Assistant Catering Director
Jamie found her love for customer service over 20 years ago with her first restaurant job. Her desire to make people happy has taken her to several different positions from hostess all the way up to management.

Joining the catering team in 2016, Jamie brought a fresh open mind to an already creative idea. With some training and the opportunity to add her own skills, the Equipment Coordinating Crew became a reality. When Jamie isn’t working with potential guests, along side the Catering Director at bridal shows and meetings, you will find her and her team cleaning, inspecting and packing equipment for upcoming events. Jamie works closely with the kitchen to make sure that all attention to detail is made for your menu.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time supporting her son in all his sporting activities, as well as having family over on Sundays for dinner.
ALISON
Catering Administrator
With a rich background spanning 15 years in the hospitality industry, I am an experienced professional with a diverse skill set. I studied Hospitality from Purdue Fort Wayne and have excelled in various roles, including Event Manager, Retail and Sales Coordinator, Social Media Manager, and Administration Leader over the past 5 years.
My passion for serving others is the driving force behind my career. I thrive on creating memorable experiences for clients and customers, leveraging strong customer relations skills honed over years of dedicated service.
Outside of the professional realm, I find joy in spending time with my 10 nieces and nephews, creating lasting memories with family in Colorado, Texas, and Central & Southern Indiana. When not perfecting my sourdough recipe or catching up on the latest home improvement shows, you'll likely find my husband and me exploring Downtown Fort Wayne or enjoying a day at the Fort Wayne Zoo with our nieces and nephews.
I am dedicated to bringing a personal touch to everything I do, combining professional expertise with a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others.
